Suppose after the divorce (and lots of counseling!) your ex starts calling again.  What do you do?  Should you consider going out with him again, do you even want to see him again?  He probably has put you through a lot of pain and heartache and you are not really sure you can put yourself out there for him to hurt again.  Yet, you did have a great marriage at one time and have a lot time and love invested in the relationship.

Maybe after seeing him again for a time and you see how different he acts with you,  you start to think about marrying your ex husband.  He is a changed man and wants to prove he is trustworthy and he really wants a second chance.  Recovery for you will begin when he can ask for your forgiveness and prove to you he is sincere with his actions and deeds.
